Not long ago, a client from a Caribbean island reached out to us at Green Loop: \u201cWe want a Net Zero building \u2014 but skip the modeling, commissioning, and optimization. Just tell us how many panels to install.\u201d They meant well, but they were skipping the entire point of Net Zero.

Then they shared their Design Development set, and this is what it looked like:

The building had no shading.
The HVAC was oversized.
The lighting ran 24\/7.<\/strong>

Their solution?
