A reminder that high-end hospitality isn’t only about the guest experience, but about how resources are managed to support it sustainably.
This hotel project in Bogotá, developed by Construcciones Planificadas, reflects a comprehensive approach to sustainability and high performance in the hospitality sector. Strategically located near Corferias and Ciudad Salitre, the development combines a luxury experience with efficiency and wellness criteria, offering spaces with abundant natural light, panoramic views of the city and the Andes, and environments designed for comfort and health.
From a technical standpoint, the project’s primary goal was to achieve LEED certification by integrating strategies that optimize resource use and reduce its carbon footprint. Through a full-building energy model and specialized advisory services, solutions were implemented such as high-efficiency systems, LED lighting with occupancy sensors, controlled natural ventilation, and thermal insulation in the building envelope. These measures not only support compliance with international standards but also deliver meaningful operational savings.
As a result, the project successfully balances a premium guest experience with measurable environmental performance, embedding sustainability at every level of operation. Complemented by amenities such as a spa, indoor pool, and high-end dining options, this development demonstrates that luxury, efficiency, and environmental responsibility can be fully aligned in the hospitality sector, creating value for both users and the surrounding urban context.
