Proving that the true value of a project lies not in how it is built, but in how it improves the lives of those who inhabit it.
Located in Chía and developed by Promotora Casanua Chía S.A.S., this assisted living project redefines quality of life for older adults by integrating design, healthcare, and sustainability into a single environment. With a 7,756 m² tower, a basement parking level, and three floors that combine residential units, social areas, and specialized services, the project was conceived from the outset with a feasibility analysis that guided strategic decisions toward an efficient and comfortable development.
From a technical standpoint, Green Loop supported the project through bioclimatic design and EDGE certification advisory, actively participating in technical committees and the construction process to ensure proper implementation of strategies. Climatic, thermal, solar, and ventilation analyses were conducted, along with the optimization of key systems such as lighting, HVAC, and façade design. This approach not only improved the building’s energy performance but also elevated physical and visual comfort standards for its users.
Additionally, the project incorporates sustainability guidelines focused on efficient water use, responsible material selection, waste management, and indoor air quality—key elements in environments designed for care and well-being. Casa Nua demonstrates that when sustainability is integrated from the design stage, it becomes a driver for creating more human-centered, healthier environments prepared to meet the needs of a growing population.
