Sustainability creates real value when it is both designed and continuously optimized over time.
The Amarilo Headquarters project sets a milestone in Colombia as the first building to achieve LEED Platinum certification in both BD+C and O+M, integrating design, construction, and operations under a single high-performance standard.
Green Loop led the LEED consulting, commissioning, and energy modeling, delivering an efficient, innovative headquarters aligned with international standards. The building incorporates solar energy (~10%), high-efficiency lighting, a high-performance envelope, mixed-mode ventilation, and rainwater reuse systems, along with sustainable mobility strategies. As a result, it achieves 37.9% energy savings, 61.51% water savings, and a reduction of 40.22 tons of CO₂, along with tangible financial benefits.
Beyond the metrics, the project demonstrates how sustainability can become a comprehensive strategy that drives long-term environmental, operational, and financial value.
