True efficiency in a building is achieved when design, technology, and sustainability translate into real-world impact.

The Connecta 80 project, developed by Terranum, stands as a benchmark for sustainable construction and environmental performance in Bogotá. Strategically located along Avenida Calle 80—one of the city’s main corridors—the complex benefits from exceptional connectivity, with close access to TransMilenio stations and multiple public transportation routes, enabling easy mobility from across the city.

Green Loop led the LEED consulting and energy modeling for the project, also incorporating the analysis of the building envelope—a key technical component that represented a significant challenge and strengthened the team’s expertise in this type of system. The building was designed using next-generation sustainable construction technologies, achieving substantial performance improvements: 23% more natural daylight, 11% better ventilation, 28% energy savings, and a 62% reduction in water consumption.

These results reflect a holistic approach where operational efficiency, occupant comfort, and resource optimization converge toward a single goal: maximizing the environmental and functional value of the building.
