When a space is designed with intention, it transforms not just how it looks, but how it’s experienced, how people work within it, and the impact it creates.

The renovation of the 8th and 9th floors of Google’s offices in Bogotá redefines what a high-performance corporate environment can be. Spanning approximately 650 m², the project integrates key spaces such as the main auditorium, meeting rooms, a gym, a relaxation area, and gaming zones, all designed to enhance the Googlers’ experience through wellbeing, collaboration, and innovation.

Green Loop led the LEED consulting and Full Commissioning process, ensuring compliance with the stringent requirements of the Google Guide 3.0, particularly the Infrastructure Standards. These guidelines significantly raise the technical benchmark compared to similar systems, prioritizing not only efficiency and performance, but also occupant health, comfort, and long-term value for both users and owners. The project incorporated state-of-the-art technology, including high-efficiency cassette systems, as part of a strategy focused on energy optimization and indoor environmental quality.

As a result, the project achieved LEED ID+C v4.1 certification, making Google at that time the only company in Colombia with two LEED Platinum Certified Commercial Interiors projects.
